Where This Came From

Red Planet Labs started with a laser, a sheet of black acrylic, and the conviction that adult goods did not have to look like they were designed by a committee that was embarrassed to be there.

The paddles came first — drawn, cut and engraved one at a time, with pinups and cosmic horror and the occasional very rude cat. Then the fiction, published as Rose Blushes, because the stories that go with objects like these deserved covers as loud as the objects themselves. The toys followed once we found suppliers whose material standards we could stand behind.

Everything on this site is either made here or vetted here. Nothing gets listed because it has a good margin.

Shipping & Returns

Paddles are sold and fulfilled through our Etsy workshop, which handles stock, custom orders, tracking and returns under Etsy's buyer protection. Everything is made to order, so allow a little time before dispatch — current turnaround is shown on each listing.

Books are fulfilled by Amazon as Kindle editions, under Amazon's own delivery and returns terms.

Toys will ship in plain, unbranded outer packaging with a neutral sender name. For health and hygiene reasons, intimate items cannot be returned once opened unless they arrive faulty — if something is wrong, contact us and we will make it right.

Consent, Safety & Common Sense

Impact play is only ever as safe as the people doing it. Agree on limits and a safeword before anything starts, keep strikes to padded areas, stay off the spine, kidneys, tailbone and joints, and check in out loud rather than assuming. Stop the moment either person wants to stop.

Acrylic is rigid and carries more force than it looks like it will. Inspect a paddle before every use and retire anything chipped or cracked. Nothing sold here is a substitute for a conversation.
